The short version
Play Here is a free games site, not a data business. We don't run ads, we don't sell or share your data, and you can play every game without creating an account.
Traffic analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and page views. It is cookie-free and doesn't track you across sites.
Gameplay counts
When a game starts or finishes we record an anonymous counter (which game, which mode — for example "vs bots" or "online"). These events contain no names, no identifiers, and no way to tell who played.
Session replay
To debug problems we may use LogRocket, which records how the site behaves during a visit (clicks, pages, errors). When enabled it sets cookies to group a visit into one session. We use these recordings only to find and fix bugs.
Online games
Playing online stores the name you enter, your chosen color, and game state for the duration of the room. Rooms are identified by random codes and cleaned up over time.
Accounts (optional)
If you create an account, we store your email and your match history so you can see your stats. Delete requests: use the feedback form and we'll remove your account data.
Feedback
The feedback form stores what you write, and your email only if you choose to leave one for a reply.
Your browser's storage
Preferences like your player name, color, sound setting, and word-game streaks are kept in your own browser's local storage — they never leave your device.
